drummer, and we’ll work on it that way. Or sometimes Matt might have a drum idea
and then I can kind of work around something like that. But yeah, some of them, as
I said, getting back to those kind of ideas of writing, some of them kind of fell into

my lap, and it just kind of happened very organically and the ideas were kind of
unfolding themselves as I was recording. It's nice to have a home studio so you can
go and capture that when you need it. But also, some of them were kind of right,

okay, I've got this idea. Let's build upon it, and it was built upon over a couple of
    months or so.

BiTS: Now tell me about the band members, you have mentioned them, let’s hear

    a bit more about them.

                                                                                         ML: Yeah, so Rhian

                                                                                         played with me
                                                                                         since we were about

                                                                                         11 years old
                                                                                         [laughs]. We met the
                                                                                         first year of

                                                                                         secondary school, so
                                                                                         year seven in
                                                                                         secondary school

                                                                                         and we’ve played
                                                                                         together ever since.
                                                                                         So, yes, Rhian's

played on every one of my albums but one, “Wave Of Illusion” is the one that I just
did all on my own, which was the record before the one that just came out. But yeah,

Rhian's an amazing bass player, unbelievable musician and he's been with me since
we were kids and he's still here. And then Matt Connor on the drums, obviously he's
been with us for a long time now as well, since around about 2011/2012, and he's
on and produced the last two albums. It’s been a long time doing what we do, so it's

nice to have that, you can always be honest with each other and bring the best out
    in each other.

BiTS: Yeah. When you went into the studio, did you have everything done, I mean

with all the lyrics? Did you make any changes when you were actually making the
    album?

ML: Yeah, we did. So there was a couple of songs that in the early stages of the album,

seemed like they would 100% be on there. They were in the track list, and it was
nailed down. They actually didn't end up making the album cut. Sometimes songs

get cut just because it's not necessarily that they're not a good song, they're just not
a great fit for an overall record. There's a couple of songs that we didn't end up
putting on there, but we probably will put out as kind of bonus singles over the next
