BiTS: What an absolutely wonderful story. I love it, and I'm glad I asked you the
question now. Absolutely terrific. You had a launch night for the new album recently.
How did that go?
ML: The launch event, yeah, it was brilliant. We had a lot of fun. We were thinking
about doing it maybe in London or somewhere else, but we just wanted to do it at
home and just kind of have it a little bit more nearer to us just to thank all of our
local fans and family and friends and stuff as well. It was a great, great night.
BiTS: Well. I'm pretty sure that was the right choice because it's my impression that
because of the the facility that people have these days to make their own stuff, the
centre is moving away from London.
ML: Yeah, maybe. Maybe. I mean, we spent a lot of time down there, playing down
there. Well, probably about a decade ago, maybe even longer. We used to play in
London very regularly, but yeah, I suppose maybe there is a shift because of that
kind of thing. People are making music wherever they are. The technology is
becoming really amazing, and it's amazing that we can actually do that.
BiTS: Forgive me for saying this Mitch, but by my standards, you are a young man.
I'm a good deal older than you. What's your ambition? Where do you want to be in
say five or ten years’ time?
ML: I want to be travelling around the world playing guitar-based music to people
and hopefully bringing them all kinds of joy and just being true to myself, true to
