Fax Machines:

The simplest rule that should govern using the Fax method for confidential or sensitive items
is to ensure that the person on the receiving end is the only person that will see your transmission.
To avoid being inundated with unsolicited fax messages, we do not recommend listing your fax
number with the many fax directories available for this purpose. Although these directory entries
are sometime free companies that will use this method to transmit their marketing and sales
information usually sponsor them. The inclusion of your fax number on all your stationery items
should allow your business associates to reach you by the fax method. The style, type and options
available with fax machines today is very extensive. We recommend the following features and
options be considered.

Plain paper not thermal type (single sheet cut-off)

Transmission report and itemized log capability

Accurate time, date and terminal identity printout options

Memory functions for frequently called numbers

Hold and automotive redial capability function

Voice or fax line recognition switching

Multiple transmission programming function
