800 - DOORS & HARDWARE

Door Frames

Provide standard 2” deep pressed steel frames, with throat size to wrap wall thickness,
reinforced and blanked to suit the hardware to be installed. Door frames at interior to be 18
gauge, exterior 16 gauge. Fire rated openings to have appropriate ULC labeled frames.

Doors

All exterior personnel doors set in pressed steel frames to be hollow metal, 18 gauge, 1-
3/4” thick, insulated, with cut outs and reinforcing to suit hardware to be installed.

All interior doors, other than doors from office to plant and at stairwells, to be solid core
wood with hardboard paint grade finish. Fire rated doors at stairwells and from plant to
office to be hollow metal, 1-1/34” thick and have the appropriate ULC label affixed

Commercial aluminum entrances at both main office entry points (2) to be standard
color, prepainted single units with sidelite and transom panel. Glazing to be tempered
clear thermopane. Hardware to consist of push and pull bars with deadbolt lock and
closure.

Overhead doors at plant, two (2) 12.0 ft. wide x 14.0 ft. high, set in a structurally framed
opening, prime painted sectional metal, insulated, with 3” hardware and chain hoist
manual operation.
