600 - CARPENTRY

Rough Carpentry

Roof parapet framing (office building portion) constructed from treated lumber to accommodate
the cant strip and parapet cap flashing detail, for entire perimeter edge of built-up roof.

Wood blocking and backing to all door/window openings and steel stud wall framing for support
of wall mounted equipment and items provided under our scope of work.

Floor framing (over offices and separate rooms in plant area) to consist of construction grade
wood joists, ceiling furring, bridging and fir plywood sheathing, complete with closed riser stair
and guardrail, designed by a registered professional engineer to support the intended loads (future
plant offices etc.).

Millwork

Kitchenette unit in lunch room (8.0 ft. long) constructed from 5/8” thick particle core with
melamine finish and pre-formed arborite counter top with back-splash. Unit to consist of upper and
lower continuous cabinets with one bank of drawers and balance to have doors and adjustable
shelving.

Counters (2) (reception-1x10.0 ft., delivery-1x 4.0 ft.) constructed from ¾” thick fir plywood
covered with arborite finish, complete with gusset supports and 4” front apron.

Vanities (4) (2 x 5.0 ft., 2 x 8.0 ft.) constructed from ¾” thick fir plywood covered with arborite
finish, complete with gusset supports, corner posts, 4” front apron and 2” backsplash.

Closet shelving provide pre-finished upper shelf to entrance closet, complete with closet rod.
