❖ What did you do right and what did you do wrong?
Rights: I had prepared a road map for the completion of the project at the very beginning. This made sure
that I stuck on to the timelines, and, reported to my mentor the progress of my project regularly. This helped
me not only understand his perspective but, also, rectify my mistakes. I was not hesitant to ask even the
silliest of questions. And, if I was not able to understand a concept once, I immediately asked the other
person to explain again.
Wrongs: I was not very proficient in Microsoft Excel. I could have saved a lot of time, had I known its
intricacies. I should have started the process of data collection, a bit earlier.
❖ what are the things to keep in mind in the internship?
It is necessary to have a proactive approach to work and involve actively with all the stakeholders of the
project. Also, it is very important to keep calm and be perseverant. This will surely help reach your
destination.
❖ What pre-internship preparation do you suggest for juniors?
Be clear with your concepts. Once you know the basics, you can add on to your knowledge without any
difficulty. Also, have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
