Raise the lead hand, explode forward like a sprinter out of the
blocks and rotate the hips to extend and drive the punch into the
target! Let me remind you about the “Wrist (Snap) Rotation”
where I said that there is a slight bend in the arm before the
rotation of the hand into the punch! That Wrist Snap is the Punch!
The Wrist Snap, the Explosion forward, and the hip rotation all
happen simultaneously to penetrate the target from a distance
that may be more than half way to your opponent.
Reflexes are a reaction caused by some
sort of stimuli. To react without thinking!
My Perception technique is the Reverse Punch which starts as a
technique perceived to be too far away to be an effective first
strike. But remember I said that they would let you get closer if
they don’t feel threatened.
I applied this Reverse Punch by first lifting my punching hand like
I wanted to shake hands without any other body movement and
keeping the arm relaxed. Now my hand was much closer to the
opponent. As soon as my hand was in position, the rear foot and
