CHAPTER ONE








                                    AIM







                                    This project designs and uses interactive design research methods to explore how to improve campus

                                    navigation experience, and analyzes data to get results. After getting familiar with and understanding

                                    the factors and problems that cause users to get lost in SETU, Carlow, it will study and analyze some

                                    relevant solutions and find out the gaps.










                                    OBJECTIVE







                                    This project will use surveys to gain insight into the difficulties and needs that freshmen and visitors
                                    often encounter when they first enter campus.




                                    This project will examine key elements such as the location and functional layout of buildings on the

                                    SETU, Carlow, especially in areas that are easily confused, and will focus on how to make them better

                                    recognized by users in the system.




                                    After the initial design is completed, the project will be tested by users, inviting new students and

                                    visitors to try it out. User feedback will help researchers identify weaknesses in the project and pave

                                    the way for further optimization of the system.
