world. According to Forbes’ announcement, the conglomerate Vingroup and Dublin-based
Medtronic has signed an agreement as licensing collaboration in April in the purpose of providing

ventilators through this partnership . As the supporting, the combination of Vinfast as automobile
manufacturer and Vinsmart as electronic device business shifts their production significantly with
a total capacity of 10,000 ventilators per month. Also, the work of Taiwanese Foxconn Company
contributes alongside with Medtronic to offer more lifesaving devices during pandemic.
Additionally, Vingroup has also committed to donate on medical equipment and supplies through
the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee by an amount of US$4.3 million. Moreover, the
corporation has also expended approximately US$1 million on research project sponsorships for
better solutions of vaccine against this coronavirus. In perspectives of economic depression,
Vincom has attempted their partner’s survivals by giving an effort of approximately US$13
million to support those who destructively impacted by fallout from this outbreak. As rewarded
among international Internet users, these activities of charity have been shared on social
networking sites about Vingroup’s anti-pandemic works, especially on Twitter. Most
conspicuously, Scott Whitaker - Chairman of the Advanced Medical Technology Association
located in Washington, DC, gave commendation on Vingroup’s efforts globally.
In April 2020, VinAI Research under Vingroup has announced their successful development
as the state-of-art technology called as face recognition technique. It exceptionally enables e-
device users of smartphone cameras to identify them correctly even though their face is partially
covered. From viewpoints of VinAI, they claimed that they are willing to contribute their
intelligent work without charge to stop the spread-out of coronavirus infection.
In August 2020, Vingroup presented DrAid Software other attached devices to the Ministry of
Health in Vietnam to facilitate in prognosis assessment in COVID-19 treatment. DrAid is well-
recognized the first Artificial Intelligence (AI) software in Vietnam and generated by VinBrain –
a core under Vingroup since 2019 (see Exhibit 6). It has been progressed as convenient medical
utility to assist the diagnosis information of pulmonary, cardiac and bone diseases based on X-ray.
DrAid is currently exploited in 12 hospitals, one system of mobile X-ray vans and one clinic in

Hanoi and relevant areas . To increase the quality of PCR test, DrAid are to support to improve
the degree of accuracy of test results, and to reduce the likelihood of false negative test among
community. In addition, the software helps to enlighten the consistency of knowledge and
information delivered among central-level to grassroots-level treatment progress. Continuously,
the outcomes of coordination between VinBrain and Electronic Health Administration (Ministry
of Health) resulted in the research performance named as "Research on application of artificial
intelligence (AI) to use of chest X-ray films in support of COVID-19 diagnosis in Vietnam" and
accepted by the Scientific and Technological Council of the Ministry of Health as practical and
applicable equipment in medical and health facilities in Vietnam.
In March 2021, One Mount Group, a Vietnamese affiliate of conglomerate Vingroup,
completed a cooperative arrangement with a well-known platform as Google Cloud to facilitate
the largest technological ecosystem in Vietnam. The given function helps to gain the association
among businesses and customers during the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Specifically, this new-
established strategic partnership delivers the opportunities to utilize the Google’s technological
