TARGET IV: ENVIRONMENTAL OWNERSHIP

1908 Playgrounds
On March 15th, sorors of Target IV assessed the playground they will be cleaning
up for the May 20th 1908 Playgrounds Mobilization Community Impact Day.
The Sparkman Homes playground is in relatively good physical shape. The
equipment needs to be pressure washed and fresh mulch laid. The outdoor
facilities need some painting and minor cleaning.
The playground needs litter picked up. The basketball
court needs to be resurfaced and lines repainted. The
outdoor stage and gazebo need painting. All the
wood surfaces need to be sealed the first cleanup of
the playground was held on April 1st. Sorors were
joined by members of the
Huntsville
Alumni
Chapter of
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. as well
as members of their Kappa League.
Volunteers refreshed the playground by
sweeping and picking up trash
throughout.
