You’ll see Plugins on the Dashboard menu later and they look like this: -

When you look at them on a larger screen you’ll see that some give you options
such as ‘Deactivate’ or ‘Settings’. Please DO NOT change any of these settings
unless you are a WordPress expert and know exactly what you are doing. The
only time any of us non-experts should touch them is if advised to do so by
someone from Technical Support. This is a good case for ‘if it ain’t broke then
don’t fix it’ as these plugins are what make our site do what it does. If you
deactivate one of them then that element of your site won’t work.

Loginizer Loginizer is a WordPress plugin which helps you fight against
bruteforce attack by blocking login for the IP after it reaches
maximum retries allowed. You can blacklist or whitelist IPs for
login using Loginizer.
Meta Box Create custom meta boxes and custom fields in WordPress.
Meta Field Block Allows use of a block containing a special code, e.g. to display
Group data
u3a SiteWorks Contact Form Provides shortcodes to create a secure contact form for any email
recipient
u3a Siteworks Core Provides facility to manage content for u3a groups, events and
related contacts and venues.
u3a SiteWorks Dashboard Provides a customised dashboard for users below 'administrator'
u3a SiteWorks Import Export Provides facility to import and export CSV data files
u3a SiteWorks Maintenance Displays a maintenance page for site visitors when activated.
