ELDER BENJAMIN ROBINSON
Benjamin Robinson was born on July 28th, 1986 in Milwaukee, WI to the parents of
Pastor Herbert and Janet Robinson. Benjamin received his primary educational
training from Believers in Christ Christian Academy. He would go on t o complete
his middle school training at the Holy Redeemer Christian Academy. During his
middle school and high school years Benjamin engaged in numerous community
service organizations, one major one being Top Teens of America. Benjamin
Graduated from the New School for Community Service in 2003 and would continue
his training at North Central College in Naperville, IL where he double majored in
Political Science and Sociology with a minor in Religious studies.
Outside of Academics Benjamin also was ordained as a minister in the Church of
God in Christ, and in December of 2008 he was elevated to the office of an elder.
He served as the assistant to his father at the Good Samaritan Church and as the
youth Pastor in his local church as well as the Youth President of the 3rd
Jurisdiction of Wisconsin, under the Leadership of the Late Bishop J.C. Williams. In
addition to that he held the position of state coordinator of the state of Wisconsin
for the entire youth department of the Churches of God in Christ International, and
as a church Musician!
Over the last few years Benjamin has organized numerous youth conferences, music
conferences, and church conventions. He is also a very dynamic and anointed man of
God who loves the word of God and enjoys teaching it in its most practical form. He
has traveled throughout the state running revivals and assisting in ministries
everywhere. Ben started where many of you are and with the help of those such as
the Top Ladies of Distinctions, his church family, his natural family, Top Teens of
America, along with his drive, determination, and love for his own community, he
has matriculated through the ranks of great men and women, as he continues to
achieve his dream!
Ben served as a school administrator for 8 years, and has transitioned from
Education to Funeral services as an Licensed Apprentice Funeral Director. In 2017,
Benjamin was appointed as to the office of Senior Pastor of the Historic Westside
Church of God in Christ and simultaneously appointed as the Department of
Evangelism for the Wisconsin 1st COGIC under the leadership of Bishop Sedgwick
Daniels. 2021, Ben experienced one of the greatest losses, in the person of his
Father, Pastor and spiritual guide. After the earthly transition of Pastor Herbert
Robinson, it was the desire of Pastor Ben to keep the work and legacy of Pastor and
Mother Janet Robinson in forward motion, as well as the rich history of the
Westside Church, and from this merge was birthed the Good Samaritan Westside
Community Church, where Pastor Ben serves as the celebrated Servant Leader. Ben
has been married to the lovely Keyona since 2013 and she works alongside him in
every venture and endeavor. Ben lives by the motto “That were building people,
building ministry and building Kingdom”, and this motto fuels his life of service.
