We fought half a year; that is,
180 days. Once a week we
showered by way of a big
black Jerrycan (army canteen)
that we would leave in the sun
in order for the water to warm
up.The war was very hard,
there was always the noise of
explosions and shells and we
didn't notice how much time
passed and what day it is.
I remember when we entered the
Egyptian battlefield we realized that a
special force had come in and started
looking for us. One night, we saw a
bright light flying in our direction and
the army told us that an Egyptian
convoy was coming. We battled all
night and in the morning we
discovered that the convoy was
carrying new missiles - so we
proceeded to destroy them.
