b) Notices for any electrical hazard shall comply with the Regulation 38 and Regulation 112,
Electricity Regulation 1994. Proper non-conductive barrier with signage shall be used to
separate electrical live area and construction area.
c) Standard safety signage shall comply to the Malaysian Standard MS 2558:2014 when selecting
the symbolic safety signs. Road traffic signage shall comply with JPJ and JKR requirement.
d) The safety signage shall be:
a. Waterproof materials;
b. Of metal or Flute board/corflute plastic with vinyl letters or equivalent;
c. Printed in letter high enough to be easily read;
d. Exhibited at a prominent position.
e. AWAS signage shall be following this format:
5. SPECIFIC HEALTH, SAFETY, SECURITY & ENVIRONMENTAL (HSSE) REQUIREMENTS
5.1. Contractor HSSE Plan
a) The Contractor shall prepare and submit within fourteen (14) days after the award of the
contract a Contractor HSSE Plan to the Employer which shall, at least, describes the following
(where applicable):
a. The Contractor’s HSSE Policy and the Employer’s HSSE-related policies
b. Prevailing laws and regulations
c. Contractor’s management HSSE visit, inspection and engagement
d. HSSE KPI and target
e. The Contractor HSSE organization
f. HSSE roles and responsibilities including the Contractor and its subcontractor
g. HSSE induction
h. Weekly mass toolbox meeting
i. Weekly/ Monthly HSSE meeting
j. HSSE performance reporting
k. HSSE risk assessment
