                                                        By L. Mason

A short, chubby boy named James dashed off the old, faded yellow bus that looked like it

needed to be retired from service. He burst through the wood door so giddy and impatient, he

nearly snapped it off the hinges. “Grandma is coming, she’s taking me with her on her trip!” he

happily exclaimed to his older sister, Nicky, who could care less. He started packing up clothes

and toys for the trip. About 30 minutes later, There were three big booms from the brown door

James nearly tore down earlier. Nicky opened the door to find Grandma glad to see her

grandkids. James couldn’t contain himself at this point. Grandma walked in, nustling James’

dirty blonde hair and hugging Nicky. The family chatted about what they had been doing ever

since they parted ways the last time they were together. Finally, they said their goodbyes, and

Grandma and James got into a shiny new car headed towards a business that had a parking lot

full of semi trucks with chicken products tattooed on them. If the parking lot had been empty,

                                                                                  you could have landed a

                                                                                  plane there. James stared at

                                                                                  every single truck in awe,

                                                                                  trying to guess which one

he would get to sit in for

                                                                                  the remainder of the trip.

                                                                                       The business looked a

lot better on the inside than

on the outside. Grandma talked to a guy at the loading bay doors, while James peeked through
