A short, chubby boy named James dashed off the old, faded yellow bus that looked like it
needed to be retired from service. He burst through the wood door so giddy and impatient, he
nearly snapped it off the hinges. “Grandma is coming, she’s taking me with her on her trip!” he
happily exclaimed to his older sister, Nicky, who could care less. He started packing up clothes
and toys for the trip. About 30 minutes later, There were three big booms from the brown door
James nearly tore down earlier. Nicky opened the door to find Grandma glad to see her
grandkids. James couldn’t contain himself at this point. Grandma walked in, nustling James’
dirty blonde hair and hugging Nicky. The family chatted about what they had been doing ever
since they parted ways the last time they were together. Finally, they said their goodbyes, and
Grandma and James got into a shiny new car headed towards a business that had a parking lot
full of semi trucks with chicken products tattooed on them. If the parking lot had been empty,
you could have landed a
plane there. James stared at
every single truck in awe,
trying to guess which one
he would get to sit in for
the remainder of the trip.
