116 The Unforgettable Moments in Life

When Joshell was five, he and his family started a tradition. Joshell is the cousin of
Kenyon and he is 20 years old. He really enjoys Christmas. He loves it because of the
amazing memories and positive energy that spreads. He smells the calming smell of
chocolate cookies and hot cocoa. He sees the beautiful Christmas tree lighting up the
room red and green. He feels the texture of wrapping paper getting torn. He tasted the
deliciousness of oreos and milk.
An important object for him and his family is
their special Christmas ornament. The ornament is a
glass ornament with a smooth and rippled surface. It
has deep wide ripples that make you feel the joy of
Christmas with a touch. The cold glass ornament
gives you chills with a nostalgic feeling.
One holiday event that stands out for Joshell is MLK day because that was the day
his dad tragically passed. His dad was a hero to him. He was always there for Joshell.
Every MLK day, Joshell and his family walk to his dad’s grave, put flowers on it, and say
their grace. Snow plays a huge role in their tradition because every time it snows, Joshell
and his family go sledding. Another thing Joshell remembers is his mom and dad blessing
him and his two sisters with amazing gifts. Joshell is very grateful for everything in life. In
conclusion, Joshell has a very healthy tradition and enjoys it.
