the car, I saw a lot of my church members from MNFC already shopping. I tried to hide but they

saw me right in front of the store. I got my dress and went to the church so we could practice

dancing for Christmas.

The next day was December 25, 2023. Everyone was busy getting ready while I woke up

and cooked breakfast for the visitor that my grandparents were bringing to the house. While I

was cooking breakfast for the visitors, I could hear everyone yelling to get up and get ready,

people fighting over the bathroom, babies crying, and cars pulling up the driveway. After I

cooked, I went to the room and got the baby clothes together, and put them in the baby's bag.

After I did that I went to get myself ready. It was easy for me to get ready because I already had

my clothes prepared and I had showered the night before. I got ready and went to the living

room and kitchen to tidy up everything before we left. The visitors that my grandparents brought

had already left for the church with my grandparents. I stayed to help out the others at the house.

We headed to the place they rented for us. Once I walked into the civic center, I could

smell chicken with salad and good Marshallese food. We ate salad, rice, shrimp and crab. Church

was already over, so we just lined up for food. We went to find our people (church members) and

sat next to them while everything was about to begin. We watched other people dance till it was

time for us to dance. Once they announced my church name and where we are from, I got up and

ran to the bathroom to change into my uniform. People were waiting for me because I was in

front of the line to start the dance. After the dance we just lined up for food again, then I went to

the other churches close by to see them dance. We were there till 5:45 am. The celebration was

still going on, but I had to go home to have some sleep because it had been such a long day.
