Christmas Traditions
By Roman Anmontha
I got out of the car and ran through the snow. As the snow hit my skin, it instantly melted
from the warmth of my skin. I entered the two-story church. I was partly wet from the snow and
had a tired face from when I was running in the snow. I went to rest in a room of cleaning
supplies that smelled like bleach.
Every Christmas, my family and I go to church to celebrate the season. The church I
attended is really big and has all sorts of Christmas decorations. I saw kids running around the
church. I walked into the main part of the church and it was the size of a basketball gym at a
school. After that, I walked through a kitchen where they cook food. It smelled really good, so
good that it made me hungry and my stomach started to rumble. I sat in a very soft, comfy seat
that the church had and started to celebrate with my family. Before we celebrated Christmas, a
group of people with elf costumes came and set up tables for each group of seats so we could eat.
While we were waiting for the food, they put on some Christmas music and it was really jazzy.
Finally, we celebrated with my family in the huge church, and I really enjoyed it.
