18. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
• A Station Complaint Management System for tracking of complaints has been
implemented.
• A New Web Portal for Capturing details of candidates under National Apprentice Traine
Scheme category has been implemented.
• Implementation of Online Annual Performance Appraisal System for non-executives -
rst time in Indian Railway on yearly basis with APAR status tracker and Dashboard was
also achieved this year.
• A digital initiative for the employees, for availing of Pass and Leave sanctions from
anywhere being highly benecial for employees specially those like Trackmen, Gang
men, Patrolmen through mobile app was also provided.
• An Online Transfer request and Order Generation module has been implemented to
initiate proposal for competent authorities' approval and generation of Transfer Order up
to Composite Transfer Grant, Transportation Charges claim using workow through
system.
• As a part of initiative to cut down the cost of IT Station infrastructure all Station JRAP
modules are consolidated and is now been facilitated to access from a cloud technology
Central Server.
• A digital initiative from Konkan Railway for its Retired Employees, for availing of Post
Complimentary Retirement Pass and Medical Reimbursement facilities from anywhere
has been implemented.
19. RAILWAY PROTECTION FORCE
• During the year, 34 culprits who were involved in Theft of Passengers belongings were
arrested and stolen property valued ` 9,37,940/-was recovered. All the culprits were
handed over to concerned State Police for further legal action and cases were registered
against them under Section 379 of IPC.
• During the year, 22,009 bottles of liquor valued ` 31,88,410/- were seized in train and
railway premises at various stations while being transported illegally with arrest of 29
persons. The seized liquor was handed over to concerned excise authorities under
acknowledgement.
• During the year, 145 passenger's luggage and valuable items value of ` 27,53,675/-
recovered / secured and returned to the passengers.
• During the year, 86 children who had run away from their homes and were found in trains
or in railway premises were traced / rescued. They were handed over safely to their
parents / Child Help Line.
