Communication


              •  You must present yourself in a courteous and friendly manner.
                  Remember you are the face of the event you are volunteering at.

                  Whilst wearing you ID badge you are representing all partners
                  during events.


              •  Your role is to help people and give information and enhance the
                  experience of people attending the event. Remember that
                  English may not be visitor’s first language you must be patient
                  and welcoming at all times.


              •  As part of a team, communication with your team is vital.  You
                  must report any incidents to your team leader or a member of
                  staff whether you think they are important or not.


              •  Your team leader needs to be in constant contact with you to
                  relay information, make sure you respond to calls from your
                  team leader


           Health and Safety


           It is important to be mindful of Health and Safety


           •  Recognise that you are part of a team and need to be mindful of
              health a safety issues that may affect your team members.  Make
              sure your team members know where you are at all times if you need
              to leave your allocated location
