infrastructure for 2015-2019" No. PF-2313 dated March 6, 2015 serve as a regulatory
document for the development of the industry.
Today, the development of international economic relations, the deepening of
integration processes and the dependence of the efficiency of international trade on transport
logistics have created the need to unite countries under one project. In order to implement this
necessary process and develop interregional integration ties, the People's Republic of China
is promoting the “One Place, One Road” project initiative.
Last year, the international conference “One Place, One Road” was held in the capital
of China, Beijing. The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev also took
part in the conference dedicated to the development of international cooperation and made a
speech.
Beijing's One Place One Road project spans 60 countries on three continents. The
project is scheduled to begin in Xi'an, a city of 10 million people. This city is considered by
the Chinese to be the cradle of civilization. Once the largest city on the planet, Xi'an served
as the capital of China for thousands of years.

According to the project, financing will be provided to Central Asia, the Middle East,
South Asia, Southeast Asia and some regions of Europe. According to analysts, the creation
of the New Great Silk Road is intended to make China one of the leading countries in the
world. The influence of the “country under the sky” in the Asia-Pacific region will also
increase, and its political and economic influence in the region will expand (Table 5.1.1).
According to experts, China is interested in expanding its railway and construction
companies abroad. The governments of Russia and China are jointly developing a number of
railway projects. China is currently struggling with the launch of high-speed trains on the
Beijing-London route. If this project comes to fruition, passengers will be able to travel from
London to Beijing or Beijing to London in just two days.
