ROTARY COCHIN MILAN

It was indeed a great pleasure to visit this enterprising all Ladies Club of Rotary Cochin Milan led
JAN by energetic President Nina Nayar and Secretary Deepa Santosh. We started by the induction
6 of one member taking their strength to 22 with 6 more lined up for induction in the near future.

They have planned to reach 30 by the end of this Rotary Year. Suggested to observe the
classification process to induct new members. With just 21 members they have already exhibited
the STREE SHAKTI and are capable of much more. Appreciated the fabulous service they have
done through their 2 Global Grants and by showcasing their work they can not only portray
themselves as Role Models but also attract more members., They are seriously working on their
next Global Grant, which they hope to implement this year itself. Through their projects they
have covered the RI Priorities as well as most of the District Priorities.

Their future plans include organizing the Netra Eye Camp with Rotary and Giridhar Eye Institute
in Mulavukad and a Mammogram Camp will be conducted as a follow up to the Breast Cancer
Awareness Camp conducted in October 2021 in partnership with the Aster MedCity community
outreach program. The club is planning for an artificial limb camp and to also conduct workshops
and camps to promote the five District Special Projects before year end. They have contributed
$ 1000 to the Rotary Foundation with more to follow.
DD Rtn. Varghese. K. Joy, AG Rtn. Lakshmi Menon and GGR Rtn. Dr. Rajesh Narayanan are
ably supporting the Club.
