ROTARY WADAKANCHERRY

A Club with a unique achievement of being the First Rural 100% PHF Club (RY 2011-2012) and are
JAN still maintaining the 100% PHF Club status. Ably led by President Sunil. N and Secretary Prince
12 Jose have organised many useful projects for the people of Wadakancherry.

The club has completed various projects like Breast Feeding Cubicle at Government Hospital,
Financial Assistance to Government Girls LP School for renovation and Educational Aid to Students
for online classes during this covid situation. The Club’s ongoing project at their adopted schools
– Vimalalayam, Carmel Mount Special to be continued.

The club also has planned for constructing a Bus Waiting Shelter, installing 4 Way Test promotion
sign boards, Tree planting with proper protection and Rain water harvesting project at all the
Rotarian’s houses. Vocational Excellence Award was presented to Dr Bindu Thomas, Supdt.
Govt Dist General Hospital, Wadakanchery. They also recognized 3 of their members in view of
Outstanding Achievements in their respective vocations - Rtns Sqn Ldr Padmadas, Er. E I Sajith
and Dr P Gopikumar. They are also planning for a Global Grant Project in the near future.

DD Rtn. Pratap Varkey, AG Rtn. Dr. Manikantan and GGR Rtn. Martin Francis are ably supporting
the Club.
