Minnie’s Food Pantry

For the past two years the North Texas Chapter has volunteer to help sort food and stock Mini’s
food Pantry, a nonprofit organization created by an African American woman and geared
towards bringing food to the underprivileged in our community. The North Texas Junior Teens
will again volunteer their time and energy sorting and packaging goods for delivery to local
families. The Junior Teens will also help assemble lunches and snack bags for day laborers. This
year the need at our local foodbanks is greater than ever. The objective is to teach teens the
importance of giving back while helping to create a hunger free community.
