Project Management & Implementation in eLearning
Other elements that need to emphasize while planning a project are ten areas which are integration, project scope,
time constraint and duration, cost that might affect the project, quality of project management that will give the
whole looks to the project and the procument that might help to get the right sources needed in the project.
Human resources are important if the project need to be completed have the big task and the team need to
consider to overcome the gap with what the have.
The most important things in the process of managing project are communication. Good communication skills
among team members will keep the entire task done and leading forward to achieve goal. Another element that
needs to be draws is risk management. The risk in managing project might occure anytime and the task of the
project leader is to control and monitor the project so that the project will be back on track while eliminate or
reduce the risk occurred. Above of all, top management in an organization will take the lead to make sure the
project is on the track and should be the decision maker if the project team unable to come into solution.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN eLEARNING
According to Nikos Andriotis in his article “The 7 Best Practice Steps in eLearning Project Management” training
needs to be more flexible, accessible and sophisticated. The eLearning project management steps will help to keep
the project on the right path. The project management involves in this steps are planning, content gathering,
instructional design, storyboarding, development and production phase, quality assurance and integration and
delivery.

Planning
Planning a project in eLearning is the first part in project management process that includes creating schedule or
Gantt chart and job task to each member in the group. Schedule or Gantt chart can be done in software that might
help and accessible to track the project progress. Normally schedule will be created base on few items such as
Stages, Item, Activity, Owner and Due-Date. These elements are important to ensure that nothing will be missed
during the execution of the project. However another task that need to be consider during this phase is to
determine any constraint especially skills and multimedia constraint such as content specification or restrictions,
what is the limit the project can offer and to get the approval from the client before proceeding with any project.
The client needs to sign off the objective to be achieved and clear with the constraint that have been state before
the project can be executed.
