Ph rasal verbs (take off / give up etc.)
This is a list of some important phrasal verbs 曰 Unit 114).
on . carry on = continue
0 Don't stop working. Carry on. (= continue working)
0 A: Excuse me, where is the station?
B: Carry on along this road and turn right at the lights. (= Continue along ... )
also go on / walk on / drive on etc. = continue going/walking/driving etc.

come on = be quick

get on = manage (in ajob, at school, in an exam etc.)

(= how did you do?)
hold on = wait

off take off = leave the gro und (for planes) TAKE OFF

go off = explode (a bom b etc.) or ring (an alarm,
