Growing up AASBO
CONTINUED FROM PAGE 7
Other than your Dad, was there another AASBO
role model who influenced you? Who and how?
There are so many other AASBO members
who have played an influential role in my life. I
mentioned John Fung earlier – he gave me job
and made me feel important as a kid in AASBO. I
haven't had a chance to mention names like Brian
Mee, Bill Maas, Lynn Lang, and Joel Worth. These
are AASBO members who have always opened
their door to me, allowed me to ask questions,
and mentored me like my Dad did with so many
others.
What are your future goals and how can AASBO
support you?
The plan right now is to stay in education and try
to make a difference. I want to continue to serve
the education community and AASBO. I wouldn't
be where I am today without all of the support
AASBO and its members have given me.
