TRAVELING ON SUKKOT

Traveling on Sukkot can of course present a challenge concerning fulfilling the mitzvah of sukkah. Is a traveler obligated to
look for a sukkah to use if he wishes to eat more than a k’beitza of bread or other grains?

        Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chaim 640:8
Day travelers are exempt from a sukkah during the day and are obligated at night; night travelers are exempt at
night and obligated in the day.

Rema: This is specifically where they can find a sukkah, but if they can’t find a sukkah they may continue on their
way, even if they will not sit in the sukkah either during the day or at night. [This is] similar to the rest of the year
where one doesn’t abandon his travels due to [not having access to] his house.
