In honor of the month of Adar, (whose symbol is a fish) the city of
Chicago is instituting fish licenses for all pet fish owners. All fish
owners will be required to register their fish and display a front and
back license whenever taking their fish for a walk.
Brookfield Zoo is pleased to announce the birth of their first otter
of the year. In honor of the occasion we are planning a month long
celebration. The curator of the otter house, Mr. Daryavesh ex-
plained the reason for a whole month celebration with the Jewish
saying, " mesheneechnas OTTER marbim b'simcha."
