Respective Projects Include:
FT. Detrick Consolidated Logistics Facility Frederick, Maryland – This project included design build MEP services
BIM modeling, and LEED services (silver) for a new 44,742sf logistics center and a 53,900sf operations and
maintenance building which consisted of high bay single story facility with smaller two story office areas. HVAC design
in shipping and receiving areas included pretreatment for airborne substances prior to passing the CRP screening.
HVAC systems included rooftop VAV systems with hot water reheat for office areas and direct fired gas and infrared
tube heaters, exhaust fans and louvers in maintenance and storage areas. The site lighting consisted of LED lights for
all road ways and parking lots. The parking lots were provided with power for electric vehicles and car ports with a
photo-voltaic array system will be provided for the vehicles. The interior lighting systems were designed in accordance
with the Lighting Design Guide and the IESNA Lighting Handbook. The building was designed with a fire protection and
mass notification system. MEP design included V/E services and coordination with the sub-contractors for budget
control within the government scope.
Bakery De France, Frederick, Maryland – Mechanical and plumbing design of a new 100,000 sq ft bakery. The
mechanical design consisted of 100 H.P. steam boiler, steam piping to process equipment, 50 H.P. compressed air
system, gas piping for process and HVAC equipment, special ventilation design for process equipment, HVAC systems
for process areas, storage areas, office areas and utility areas. The plumbing design included sanitary and process waste
piping, domestic cold and hot water distribution piping and compressed air piping.
Liberty Property Trust Facilities, Maryland and Pennsylvania - Mechanical and electrical design for a 554,040
square foot warehouse located in Hagerstown, Maryland. Mechanical and electrical engineering design for a 797,500
square foot warehouse facility in Fairview Township, Pennsylvania. Design included multi-metering for a 277/480 volt
3 phase service, T5HO lighting through-out warehouse, battery emergency lighting located in T5HO fixtures, exterior
metal halide building and pole mounted lighting, power to fire pump and fire alarm design.
