He showed great ability in both pitching and batting, though his throwing arm
        was something to be reckoned with. With this is brought many victories for his
        team. Three years on and my grandfather was selected for South African Junior
        Springbok


        Colours.  He  continued playing Major League  Softball  until  his intake  to the
        South African Air Force ( SAAF ).
