Ysgol Bryn Deva: Swift Conservation
“We at Ysgol Bryn Deva, Flintshire, have been working with the North Wales
Wildlife Trust’s Swift Conservation to try to encourage swifts to our school.
“A swift house was placed on the
school chimney, we have created a
wildflower bank to attract insects
for the swifts to eat and we also
worked with Iwan from the Trust to
plant wildflowers.
“We have been playing swift calls
and were very excited to see four
swifts flying past!”
