OPERATION UPDATES

          Operational Excellence Coins

Congratulations to the following employee for being recognized with an

          Operational Excellence Coin!

Corey Stagner, Superintendent RV14 was nominated
by Marc Hackett for his 4th Quarter Director’s Coin

My 4 Quarter Director’s Coin for Operational Excellence is being awarded to Corey Stagner for his consistent per-
              th
formance on both the UPRR project work and the season spent helping the Alaska Railroad solve drainage problems.
The feedback from Loram’s customers has been reflective of his performance: you do a great job, you care, and you
want to make a difference no matter what you are being asked to do. You also solve problems and work well as a
team leader. This has not gone unnoticed. I first want to say thank you! It has been a challenge this past year as we
all deal with people shortages, supply chain delays, and even some tough weather. You kept going and you never
tried to make excuses if things were tough. This consistency as well as your focus on excellence exemplifies Loram’s
operating culture. You led a safe team, you were prepared for the unexpected, and you even put your machine on a
          barge, that’s quite a year.

As I spoke to Corey’s managers and others who have interacted with him, the responses were universally positive
regarding the work he is doing as supervisor on RV14. As I reviewed Corey’s transfer history, I noticed he has
played a role on several RV’s since 2016, even touching the snowmelter for a time. I encourage Corey to continue
mentoring his team members and share lessons learned over the years. You are the kind of leader set to keep Lo-
ram well positioned for continued success. This token should serve to remind everyone that sees it how hard work
and caring about what you do every day makes a difference. Thank you, Corey!

Daniel J. Benke, Superintendent RV16 was nominated by
Christopher Dykhoff for his December General Recognition

I would like to present Daniel Benke, Superintendent RV16 with my December Operational Excellence Coin. Danny
has done a great job this year across the board, running a safe and productive operation, but has made a point of go-
ing above and beyond with great customer service, relationship-building, and coordination. He led his team through a
very important hurricane recovery project previously featured in Track N’ Times. He has also taken initiative in col-
laborating with Engineering in deploying and refining a customer-requested modification to our swing conveyor, and
he has worked with the Operations Maintenance Manager and Product Specialist in an effort to improve reliability
and cost on a frequently failed air compressor. His commitment to excellence and improvement is a great example of
the kinds of positive impact an individual can have on our operation.
His performance this year and previous years have reflected very well on himself and Loram. They are very much
          appreciated!
