This month’s interview is with Tyrone Stanton, Crew Chief RGS8

Tell me a little more about how you started with
Loram, which positions you’ve held and what you
enjoy the most working here.
January 2017 is when I started with Loram. It was a
company that was brought to my attention by a fellow
co-worker. Now, 5 years later I’ve moved and held
positions from General Labor (2017) all the way to
my current position as Crew Chief (2020). What I
enjoy most about working here is the ability to grow
within the company, getting the job done and lastly,
making the customers happy!

Where is your hometown and what is the best
thing about it?
I was born in Daphne, Alabama. The best thing about
Daphne is the beaches.

What is your favorite memory from this past year?

I don’t think I have one favorite memory from this past year. It’s been a great year getting through the pandemic
so I’m thankful for that.

What is your favorite thing about working at Loram?
My favorite thing about working at Loram is that I’m able to travel across the country and see places I’ve not
seen before.

Do you have any hobbies? What’s your favorite thing to do on time off?
Hobbies, of course I do! I love to go fishing. I enjoy cooking and of course the beach. On my days off I like to
spend time with my family, grandchildren and doing things around the house.

What is something about yourself that would surprise your coworkers?

LOL. Not that it may come as a surprise but if by any chance it is, then it would be going to the casino.

What is your favorite restaurant on the road?

While traveling on the road my favorite is Chinese food and a good ol’ steakhouse.
