tho authority of tho Govornor of tho Gulf Porta at Liugak.
0. Having regard to tho position as described abovo, it will appear that, whilst
our titlo to protect in Porsia tho subjects of tho trucial chiofs of Oman is unassailable,
it would bo distinctly advantageous to obtain formal recognition thoreof from tho
Poreian Government, who can liavo no reasonable grounds for withholding it.
