bc(bro and after tho award, in such manner and on such terms as tho Court
may think fit, in concort with tho Sheikh or his representative.
(c) General.
48.—(1) Where it is proved that tho attcndauoo of a person to whom this
Order applies, to givo ovidenco, or for any othor purpose councctcd with
tho administration of justico, is rocpiircd before a Bahrein Tribunal, a
Court established under this Order may, if it thinks fit, in a caso and in
circumslancos in which tho Court would rccpiiro tho attendance of that person
boforc tho Court, order that lie do nttornl ns requirod.
(2) If tho porson ordered to attend, having rcnsonnblo notico of the tiino
and place at which ho ■ quired to attend, fails to attend accordingly and docs
not oxcuso his failuro to tho satisfaction of tho Court, ho shall, independently
of any other liability, bo liablo to bo punished with imprisonment for a form
which may extend to two months, or with lino which may oxtond to 1,000 rupees,
or with both.
49. When a person to whom this Order applies invokes or submits to tho
jurisdiction of a Bahrein Tribunal, and engagos in writing to abido by tho
decision of that Tribunal or to pay nuy fees or oxpensos ordered by that
Tribunal to bo paid by him, the Court may, on such evidence as it thinks fit
to require, enforce payment of such fees and oxpcuscs in tho samo manner as
if thoy wero fees payable in a proceeding in the Court, and shall pay ovor and
account for tho same, when levied, to tho proper Bahroiu authority, as tho
Court may direct.
50.—(1) If a person to whom this Order applies wilfully gives falso
cvidoucc in a proceeding boforc a Bahrein Tribunal, or in an arbitration between
a person to whom this Order applies, on tho ouo hand, and a Bahrein subject, on
tho othor hand, lie shall bo guilty of an ofienco, and shall, on conviction, bo
liablo to bo punished with imprisonment for a term which may oxtond to
two months, or with fino which may oxtond to 1,000 rupoos, or with both.
(2) Nothing in this Articlo shall exompt a person from liability under any
other British or British Indian law to any other or higher punishmout or ponally:
Provided that no person shall bo punished twico for tho samo ofibncc.

52. lSvory porson to whom this Order applies, being of tho ago of 21 years
or upwards, or being married, or a widowor, or a widow, though uudor that age,
shall rogistor himself at tho Political Agency within threo months of tho
