                  allowance, and shall continuo to have offoct unless and until they arc dis-
                  allowod by tho Sccrotary of State, or, with his previous or subsequent assent,
                  by tho Govornor-Gonoral of India in Council, and until notification of such
                  disallowanco is received and published by tho Political Resident, and such
                  disallowance shall bo without projudico to anything dono or suffered undor
                  such Regulations in tho moantime.
                      (2)  All King’s Regulations shall bo published by the Political Resident
                  in such manner and at such places ns ho may think proper.
                      (3)  In this Order “ broach of tho Regulations ” includes tho breach of any
                  native or local law or custom, the observance of which is required by any
                  King’s Regulations.

                      73.  Judicial notice shall be taken of this Ordor and of tho commencement
                  thereof, and of the appointment of the Political Resident, Political Agent, and
                  Judicial Assistant, and of tho constitution and limits of tho Courts and districts,
                  and of tho seals and signatures, and of any Rules and Regulations made or in
                  force under this Ordor, and no proof shall bo required of any of such matters.
                      74.  Nothing in this Ordor shall doprivo tho Political Rosidont, or an ofiicor
                  subordinate to him, of tho right to obsorvo, and to enforce the observance of.
                  or shall doprivo any person of the bonofit of any reasonable custom existing
                  in Bahrein, unless this Order contains some oxpross and specific provision
                  incompatible with tho observance thorcof.

                      75.  Nothing in this Ordor shall—
                        (i) Affect any power or jurisdiction conferred by, or referred to in, tho
                              Act of tho Governor-General of India in Council, entitled the
                              Foreign Jurisdiction and Extradition Act, 1879 (Act XXI. ot
                              1879), or in the Indian (Foreign Jurisdiction) Order in Council,
                              19U2; or
                         (ii)  Affect any jurisdiction for tho time being oxorcisablo by tho
                              Political Rosidont under any Imperial Act other than tho Foreign
                              Jurisdiction Act, 1890; or
                        (iii)  Provent the Political Agent from doing anything which Ilis
                              Majesty’s Consuls in tho dominions of any State in amity with
                              His Majesty aro for tho time boing, by law, usage, or sufferance,
                              entitled or enabled to do.
                       7G. If a question arises whether any place is or is not in Bahrein for tho
                   purposes  of this Ordor, it shall be roforred to tho Political Rcsidout, and a
                   certificate under his hand and seal shall bo conclusive on the question, and
                   shall be taken judicial notice of by any Court established undor this Ordor.

                       77. Not lator than tho 31st day of March in each year, or such othor
                   day as tho Secretary of State, or, with his provious or subsequent assent, as
