commencement of this Order, if resident within Uio limits of this Order at
that time, or, if arriving within tho limits of this Order, within ono month after
such arrival.
Provided that a person who fails to register himself within tho timo limited
by this Articlo may bo registered at any time if ho excuses his failuro to tho
satisfaction of tho Political Agent.

53. Tho registration of a man shall compriso tho registration of his wifo,
or wives, if living with him; and tho registration of tho head of a family
shall compriso tho registration of all fomalos and minors, being his relatives
in whatever dogroo, living uudor tho samo roof with him at tho timo of his
registration.

54. Registration under this Ordor shall bo renewed annually in tho month
of January.

55. .Evory person who has not previously boon rogistored applying to bo
registered under this Order shall, unless oxcuscd by tho Political Agent, attend
personally for that purpose at tho Political Agency, but no porson applying
for tho ronowal of his registration need attend personally unless directed by
the Political Agont so to do.
56. Evory porson. rogistoriug himsolf uudor this Order may obtain, if ho
so dcsiro, a certificate of registration in such form as may bo proscribed by
tho Political Resident.
57. If any porson to whom this Ordor applies neglects to registor himsolf
undor its provisions lie shall not bo ontitlod to the protection, assistanco, or good
oflicos of tho Political Agent, and shall bo liable to a fine not oxcccding 25 rupees
for each instanco of such failure, but ho shall, although not registered, bo
subject to tho jurisdiction of tho Courts established by this Ordor.
5S. A porson applying to bo rogistored under this Ordor must produco
such ovidonco as tho Political Agent may think necessary that ho is entitled
to bo registered.

59. Registration undor this Ordor shall bo no evidence of nationality,
and a statement to that effect shall bo inserted on the faco of every certificate
of registration issued undor this Ordor.
Paut VII.—Miscellaneous Pho visions.
GO. Subject to tho control of tho Secretary of Stato tho Political Rosident
may, from timo to timo, with tho previous sanction of t)io Govornor-Gcnoral of
India iu Council, mako Rules of Proccduro and other Rules, consistent with
this Order, for tho better execution of tho provisions herein contained iu respect
of any matter arising in tho courso of any civil or criminal ease, including
insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings.
