according to the regulations existing in our country.
Article 13(c). This orticle requires alteration, We
arc prepared to allow the company's ships and boats to use
our hurbours provided that they do not impede by so doing
or interfere with our subjects in any way.
Article 16(b). V/c suggest that instead of the phrase,
"Arabs belonging to the Bahrain islands" should bo written,
"Subjects of the Shaikh of Bahrain".
Article S3. It must be clearly stated in this article
that the company ccmot transfer its obligations or benefits
under this agreement to another company except with the
concent ol* the Bahrain Government one; the consent of the
British Government.
V/e consider that an agreement between two parties
should not be transferred to a third party except with the
consent of the two original parties.
2. There is another matter which v/e wish to introduce.
It should be stated that within the first six months of
the seventh year, the company must, if they have not already
done so, erect a suitable drilling plant and continue
drilling operations for a period of six months continuously
in every subsequent year maintaining one rig continuously
in operation.
3. Before agreeing upon these matters we do not propose
to discuss the remaining financial matters which are in this
agreement.
