Though Sheralan and his friends oooaslonally take on anti-
Drltlsh lino they showed during tho negotiations which lod to
their rocont agreement with the Ruler that they realise the
Importance of working with us to achieve their objectives.
Thoy are, of course, firmly opposed to Sir Chariots Bolgrave,
tho Britioh Adviser to the Rulor, but ub yet theyhhavo not
oncouragod their followero to Identify him with Her y/ijoaty’s
Government. Though Shomlan visited Cairo earlier this year
and gave a broadoust interview on Radio Cairo,ho did not
yield to tho temptation to attack, tho British connexion.
