               General Questions

               1. Why are you interested in the ADF opportunity with the City of San Jose? Tell me a bit about what you
               know about the City.

I'm interested in the position. I have an interest of getting all levels of experience in government. I started off
in the state of Arizona I started in the financial services division then moved to a financial analyst role. I had
an opportunity to get federal government experience after that. Rolling up into the president's budget with
the Department of Health and Human Services. Am now in Treasury. My desire now that I have the federal
experience to get the local government experience. Particularly when you are looking at municipal
government. There is more of an emphasis around the City. This particular position seems to overlap in my
lane as the Director of Financial Systems integration I understand the City is looking for an upgrade. I don't
have too many details about the City I did pull up the CAFER the annual financial report about the City to get
a sense around how it's shaped up. It does look like it's a very wellrun shop it appears the ADF will report to
               Julia Cooper.

Underlying drive is to become a publicsector leader down the line, like City Manager.

2.Please describe your most recent position and daytoday responsibilities.

Currently I am the Director of Financial Systems Integration I manage five staff. On this team we have four
contract engagements that's about 8 additional contract service staff. My group has as couple of different
work groups and responsibilities. We obtain general ledger data when you think about treasury you have
the Bureau of Fiscal Service. We are trying to role up data and serve our accounts and headquarter shop.
There is reporting that we do around public spending transparency. I am currently still involved as serving as
an advisor of the Deputy CFO accounting services, the financial reporting function, I get to dabble in a lot of
different service areas. We are currently working through our audit with the KPMG auditors. That's kind of our
day to day making sure that the monthly quotes happen. Also we have a reporting cycle and public spending
that I am in charge of.

               3. How many employees do you supervise? Who do you report to?

Currently supervise a staff of 4 fulltime employees. Report to the Deputy CFO of Treasury.

               Finance Questions
               4. Please describe the ways in which you determine whether your organization is operating efficiently and
               effectively.

How do you characterize efficiently. Our core work that we are accountable for is financial statements the
conversations that I have been really engaged in is how do we show value in the leadership space. A lot of the
reporting functions can be outsourced our automated. That's how I make sure we are driving value and
