All effect masks can easily be inverted so that the light area becomes the dark area
and vice versa. To do this, click on the arrow on the effect mask object.

This will invert the effect mask.

Designing effect masks with Xara Designer
You can also create animated effect masks in Flash format to adjust the effect
regulation to the moving video images. To do this you will need to have either Xara
Photo & Graphics Designer 2013 (or newer) or Xara Designer Pro X (or newer)
installed on your computer.

Please proceed as follows:
1. Select the image or video object for which you would like to create an effect
mask.
