               8.8  Work Life Balance
                                                          We recognise that work, while significant,
                                                          is not the only thing in your life and you
                                                          may    have    other     domestic     or    social
                                                          commitments,  interests  or  responsibilities
                                                          to  work  around.  Should  you  have  problems
                                                          with  working  patterns  we  aim  to  find
                                                          workable  and  practical  solutions.    We
                                                          cannot  guarantee  that  we  can  always
                                                          oblige, but each request will be evaluated
                                                          on its own merits, considering the reason,
                                                          the  duration,  the  style  of  operation  and
                                                          other related        issues  such  as  staffing
                                                          levels etc.  Some ways that may assist are
                                                          Job  sharing,  part-time  working,  term  time
                                                          working,  flexi-time  working  or  career
                                                          breaks.

                                                          We  aim  not  to  use  split  shifts  in  our
                                                          business  because  we  recognise  the  impact
                                                          this can have on employees. We aim to give
                                                          at  least  one  weeks’  notice  of  your  roster
                                                          so that you can plan. Please talk to your
                                                          Line  /  HR  Manager  if  you  feel  that  you
                                                          need more support in this area.
