        Tortilla Pizza (Two ways!)



        Pizza night Simnett Nutrition Style!
        These tortilla pizzas are surprisingly satisfying and fun to make with the whole family. The best
        part about making them is that you get to control the ingredients that go on them. Here are two
        Pizza’s that utilize similar ingredients, but you can take this idea and add your favourite toppings!






        INGREDIENTS

        Tempeh crumble:                                                           Makes 2 tortilla pizzas (calorie/
                                                                                  macro amounts are approximate)
        • ½ block tempeh (115g)
        • ½ tsp fennel                                                            460 calories (Classic Pizza)
        • ½ tsp cumin                                                             744 calories (BBQ Pizza)
        • ½ tsp thyme
        • ½ tsp sage                                                              Macros  (Classic Pizza):
        • ½ tsp onion powder                                                      26g Protein 58g Carbs 15g Fat
        • ½ tsp garlic powder                                                     Macros  (BBQ Pizza):
        • ½ tsp smoked paprika                                                    33g Protein 114g Carbs 22g Fat
        • ½ tsp maple syrup
        • Pinch of salt and pepper


        2 12” inch tortillas (one for each pizza)


        Classic Pizza:                                                   BBQ pizza:
        • 3 tbsp marinara sauce                                          • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
        • 2 tbsp chopped green bell pepper                               • 1 ½ tbsp marinara
        • 2-3 thin full slices of onion, chopped                         • handful of spinach
        • 2-3 black olives, chopped                                      • 1 clove garlic, minced
        • half of the tempeh crumble                                     • 2 tbsp red bell pepper, chopped
        •   cup (   g) queso sauce recipe - see dressing                 • 2 tbsp frozen corn
