Dinner

















        METHOD

        Preheat the oven to     F and prepare a large non-stick baking sheet.


         .  Dry out  the black beans first by rinsing and draining them and mi ing them with garlic powder and
        putting them on a large non-stick baking tray at     F for   -   mins. After the first    mins give
        them a stir. They will split open when dry (after approx 20 mins in the oven). When most are split open
        they are done. Remove from heat.


        1. Add dried black beans, steamed potatoes, red pepper, onion and seasoning to a food processor
        and blend until well mixed but not a paste. If you don’t have a food processor you could chop
        everything fairly small and work together with your hands.


        2. Add the bean mixture to a large bowl and mix in frozen peas and corn.


         . Press the mi ture into   equal patties and bake for appro .   -   minutes at     F on a large
        silicone baking tray or parchment paper. Remove patties from oven and serve hot or let cool before
        storing in the refrigerator.
