        Black Bean & Potato Veggie Patties



        The choice of veggie burgers in stores these days is immense. When I first went vegan there
        were only a few options and they were far from what you can get today. While you won’t confuse
        this with a traditional burger, I think it’s a pretty satisfying substitute and much healthier.







        INGREDIENTS

        • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained                                   Makes 4 burger patties
        • 1 tsp garlic powder
        • 6 nugget potatoes, steamed (approx ½ cups                               215 calories per patty
        (400g) steamed potato)
        •   cup (  . g) red pepper                                                Macros per patty:
        • ½ a yellow onion, chopped                                               8g Protein 45g Carbs <1g Fat
        • ½ tsp smoked paprika
        • ½ tsp cumin
        • 1 tsp garlic powder
        • 1 tsp onion powder
        • ½ tsp salt
        • 1 tsp black pepper
        • ¼ cup (40g) frozen peas
        • ¼ cup (41.3g) frozen corn
