“There are no shortcuts. Only hard work. Train hard and it will pay off.” This is what I kept in mind for the past 2
years and it helped me in staying optimistic and drive fluently through my school life.
I joined the MJKPS fraternity in class XI, my journey was short, but it has left an indelible imprint. I made some
wonderful friends and shared some of the best memories which I will cherish forever. The support and learning
from my teachers are what I value the most today and surely will for the rest of my life. Class XII involves its own
share of experiences. It marks the end of school life and the beginning of a new phase. All the experiences of peaks
and valleys are a part and parcel of this journey and every student has their own share of this. But what has been
the most helpful for me through all this is the support of my teachers, friends and family.
I would like to tell all my juniors, especially those in class XII, to work consistently from the very
beginning, work to the best of your abilities; follow what your teachers say because at the end of the day, it is them
who bring the best out of us. And lastly, enjoy each and every moment.

“Fourteen years of Wonder”
“I blinked my eyes and in an instant a decade had passed.” The tiny toddler once scared of school is now ready to
take on any challenge. The curious child now has a definite career path and goals and the reason behind the
transformation is the guiding hand of Mata Jai Kaur Public School; merely the name of my beloved school
instills a sense of pride and courage in my heart.
I don’t remember all of my school days, for some I have a faint recollection while some are etched in my mind
forever, the thing here is I wouldn’t like to change any of the things that have happened to me throughout the
fourteen wonderful years because that is who I am and merely deleting one appreciation or even one scolding would
mean I wouldn’t be myself anymore. I also owe it to the school, my friends and my teachers for shaping me into a
good human being. The truth is I don’t know what lies ahead, but I’m prepared because of the lessons I have learned
and the experiences I have gathered.
In school, our only worries are pertaining to homework completion and passing our exams with a good score. To all
my dear juniors, I would urge you to enjoy that. Cherish whatever time you have at school, always believe that
everything is possible, and remember that help will be rendered at Mata Jai Kaur Public School whenever you
want it. So whenever in doubt just ask, that has always worked very well for me.
