EXPRESSIONS 2K20: A VIRTUAL EXTRAVAGANZA

Mata Jai Kaur Public School held its Annual Inter-School event ‘Expressions 2k20’ on 7

August 2020 on a virtual platform. The theme for the event was 'EUDAEMONIA'- a

greek word commonly translated as ‘happiness and prosperity’. The event aimed at
encouraging the participants to lead a purpose driven life. As many as 111 students

from 20 prestigious schools of Delhi participated in various competitions competing in

the diverse avenues of performing arts along with literary and scientific challenges.
The students were given an opportunity to express their varied talents and skills in

engaging events such as Tedpitch, Artopedia, Econocature, Enactspeare, Noveloholic,

Sci-Fi Chronicles to name a few. The series of events emphasized the development of
leadership abilities inspiring the students to think innovatively and express themselves

creatively. The performances of the students were shared through the medium of
videos and PDF files. The parameters of the judgment were the relevance to the

theme, originality, creativity, innovation, and overall presentation.

Ms Rashmi Mehta, the Principal, expressed her gratitude on the enthusiastic

participation urging everyone to consistently evolve and grow, learning to emerge even
stronger in times of crises. The overall winner of the coveted trophy was Montfort

School, Ashok Vihar. The various position holders along with all the

participants of the Inter-School Competition were conferred with E-certificates of
merit. It was an enriching experience .
for one and all.
