As I recall walking across the corridors, I look back, count my steps in MJKPS, my sanctuary. I walked that path
many times, but it was different every day. With each step, each sound, I associate a memory, a laugh, a cry, a part
of myself. And now, as I'm standing on the verge of beginning a new phase of my life, I acknowledge that the
time I have spent in this school has paved my way towards a fruitful and enriching future. The multicultural
environment and capable instructors at MJKPS equipped me with a solid academic foundation and skills for my
current and future responsibilities.
John F. Kennedy once said, "I think that the success of any school can be measured by the contribution the alumni
make to our national life." As a proud Jaikaurian, I feel responsible to make my alma mater proud and add to its
glory. It is now that I connect to our school song's lyrics more than ever,
"Oh our dear school we love you so, and you we shall always hail... Shubh
Karman Tey Kabhoo Na Taron, Your Vision Shall Never Let Us Fail"

Hello fellow Jaikaurians,
As some of you might remember, I was the ‘didi’ who hurriedly collected your write ups and edited them for the school
magazine not very long ago, so writing this piece is particularly nostalgic and a true honor. What I didn’t realize is how
managing such tasks and participating in school events was slowly shaping my personality and giving me the confidence
that I would need to face the outside world. So, one advice that I would like to give to all my juniors is to try and
participate in at least a few events before you reach 12 class, it might end up becoming a great learning experience for
th
you.
Secondly, one of the most important lessons that my school taught me is that kindness is never forgotten. Being
different in terms of our brains and bodies is not in our control but being considerate and warm hearted is. People will
eventually forget low grades and bad performances, but unkindness is rarely forgiven.
Lastly, to all those who are appearing for their boards next year- STAY CALM. This advice is coming straight from
someone who panicked her way well into March. Stressing about the inevitable does more harm than good. Boards,
Percentages, Cut-Offs, Admissions should all be seen as reinforcements to perform better but don’t let them overshadow
your immediate goal which is to give your 100%.
I would like to thank all my teachers who time and again stepped out of their role as just educators and molded me into
the person I am today by becoming a friend, a parent and a mentor and so much more. Your contribution in my life is
invaluable and I will forever be grateful.
