THE SCIENCE OF TODAY IS THE TECHNOLOGY OF TOMORROW

All scientific endeavours depend on observation and experimentation. At MJKPS, students foray into virtual
laboratories in online classes. For senior classes where practicals play a major component of the syllabus, theoretical
studies were enforced and made more coherent by regularly interspersing them with online tutorials of practicals.
Department of Science uses Microsoft whiteboard as an effective tool for solving numerical problems, balancing
chemical equations and step by step drawing of diagrams. Students are given exposure to activities like Science
Quiz, Crossword puzzle, Poster making and Projects. Various teaching methodologies like Model Making, Hands
On Learning, Video Clips, Power Point Presentations and Science At Home are employed to make learning
interactive and effective. Due to combined efforts many students brought laurels to the school. Class VI students
got certificate from ISRO for their models of rocket. Class IX student got first prize in Jaspalian Arcade for his
model of hand sanitizer which works on the principle of Pascal Law.
